Ghosts in the machine

I just found out that I'm going to be staffed out in Northern Virginia for most of the summer and I thought... Hey, I should look up my friend from Globix who works at AOL now. We could get together sometime when I'm out there on business. Then I was like, "uh oh, what was his name again?" (Don't be offended, I lose track of names in my head all of the time. I'd forget my own if it weren't in the title of my blog) So, to jog my memry I went along to AOL's corporate website. This is what I saw:

At first glance, nothing seems out of the ordinary -- I was just looking for whether there was a corporate directory. That's when I noticed the stray 'W' at the top of the screen. Immediately, I remembered his name - James Wester. That's his name.

Wait, why the fuck is there a stray 'W' on this website? I seriously can't come up with anything better than it must be a ghost. I tried clicking on it, but it doesn't take me to any secret government webpages like the 'pi' did for Sandra Bullock in 'The Net.' Some ghost put the 'W' there just to make me remember James' name. Look forward getting a call from me buddy, I'm a little afraid of what will happen if I don't.
