Yet another reason everyone is fat these days

I've been working at home this afternoon with ESPN on in the background and there is this commercial for a new "sport" called speed stacking. Apparently, the goal is to stack a bunch of cups as fast as you can. Its about as close to a non-sport as I've ever seen. Screw that, I can't even imagine anything being more useless than this. I can appreciate the value of hand-eye coordination, but this is just plain worthless.

YouTube has about a thousand videos of kids stacking cups. Some are impressively fast and depressingly value-less.

I think the worst part is that they seem to do a lot of this "stacking" in front of legitimate athletic options like basketball courts and gymnastic setups. Gotta love manufactured "sports" driven by marketing. Wow, just wow.
